as the text says, "Friday after the Octave of Corpus Christi." This has support. To say "19 days after Pentecost" is like saying "New Years Day is celebrated 8 days after Christmas" - it might be true, but is trivially so. And looks like original research. No one ever said "let's do it 19 days after Pentecost". What they did say was "let's put Corpus Christi on the first Thursday after the octave of Pentecost" and then "let's put Sacred Heart on the first Friday after the octave of Corpus Christi". Using the actual language that the church uses to describe the placing of the feasts not only is supported by the texts but helps the reader understand the reasoning behind the dates. 19 days is random, but the timing of the feast is not random.--Richardson mcphillips (talk) 12:47, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Correcting the article to reflect that the Roman Rite Catholic Church has assigned the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus to the Friday following the

Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. The designation "second Sunday after Pentecost" is misleading since in the calendar that is not an assigned designation. patsw (talk) 22:51, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply

I read the passage on the call to pray the litany on 16 June 2023 and also the related source several times – without understanding the cause of that call. What did that baseball team do? I should be glad if someone could add to that, since the appeal, which is isolated in the article, hardly seems understandable to the reader. --Medusahead (talk) 07:30, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
