I have created a new, more general entry, Multigate device, which contextualizes FinFETs in terms of a larger development effort. I propose a merger and expansion of Multigate device page. Irene Ringworm 23:33, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Contradictory: First half of the article suggests that only the two-gate IBM design is a FinFET - recently added information on DELTA suggests that FinFET is a generic term for two- and three- gate non-planar transistors. Is a tri-gate transistor a FinFET or not? Irene Ringworm 19:27, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
