1909-1963 flag

Hey so I recently found this source on the Internet Archiven which is a collection of flags from National Geographic from 1934 that includes the flags of the states of the US. It includes the old flag of South Dakota but with some differences, including having "wavy" rays off of the sun, a darker yellow colour, and a golden border. Is this something that would be worth adding to the image or is this simply a variant of the flag? 2604:3D09:F80:1A00:BCBB:6471:5313:2176 (talk) 20:26, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have found another source from the 1960s with the same flag appearance. 2604:3D09:F80:1A00:BCBB:6471:5313:2176 (talk) 20:41, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Funny you mention this! I am currently expanding this article. I will look into it and try to figure out if there is a way to work this into the article. Thank you, this is very useful! TCMemoire 18:53, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
