First wheels cast in preservation?
I've read this claim several times, although I was just wondering how it's different from Tornado, which presumably had to have all of its wheels cast from new? Bob talk 10:01, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

Bridge testing in 1962?
"However, in light of the instalation of a new bridge west of Bristol towards South Wales, it was coupled to its twin, 6024 King Edward I, and towed to the bridge for weight testing purposes"
Any idea which bridge? "West" isn't the obvious route from Bristol to South Wales and I can't think of an underbridge on the Pilning line either. Andy Dingley (talk) 22:18, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
