How to stop gaskets from fusing

How can I stop a (paper based?) gasket from fusing to the metal of the engine? I have been suggested grease-lining it, but what type? There are 100's of types of grease!

Examples of different types

Spiral wound, Kammprofile, etc. Can wee see some photos, so we can get an idea on what they actually look like? Thanks --203.56.189.169 (talk) 15:35, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

External links

I have removed external links pointing to a directory of manufacturers, as well those pointing to manufacturers' websites. Please read

Links normally to be avoided - particularly numbers 1, 4, 5, 13, and 14 - before considering adding any further links to manufacturers. --RexxS (talk) 00:12, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply

Problem with section temperature

The section temperature is unintelligible and unreadable. It severely needs to be edited. I have removed it for the time being. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.94.171.138 (talk) 08:22, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
