Cruciferous vegetables

The article lists onions as a cruciferous vegetable. They aren't! But perhaps onions are linked to GERD anyway? Could someone who knows more about the impact of onions edit this to show thwe impact of onions without suggesting that they are members of the brassica family?

vitamin b12 deficiency

People with GERD are more likely to be prone to a Vitamin B12 deficiency, can someone mention that with citations pretty please. I'd do it myself but I don't know all the rules to do it right, and I won't be at this IP address long enough to check messages.
