Factually wrong

"Rapper's Delight" outperformed "Good Times" in the charts and popularised the bassline and the song, and it became one of the most sampled tracks (and hence one of the most distinctive basslines) in the history of recorded music. Having agreed on a commercial structure for the use of their song in "Rappers Delight", Edwards and Rodgers agreed to later uses in other songs, subject to their strict criteria.

As Good Times reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and Rapper's Delight 36 this is not at all true and I suggested it is removed. - Phildav76 (talk) 20:20, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sampling and motifs: inspired vs. sampled

This section should probably distinguish inspired songs from directly sampled songs. Some of the songs on that list share very little, and the likeness could be little more than coincidence. 24.255.213.12 (talk) 08:42, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sampling and motifs: "Let's Get It On" by Snow (Murder Love, 1995)?

Maybe ... "Let's Get It On" by Snow (Murder Love, 1995). Do you agree? --Kraschnaut (talk) 23:29, 5 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
