The Hexagrams of the I Ching are constructed through the coming together of 2 trigrams, but when the trigrams come together 2 further inner trigrams are created called Nuclear Trigrams. The combination of the meanings attributed to the 4 trigrams gives rise the occular reading given to a hexagram, but as a hexagram can contain light or dark moving or non-moving values, what the hexagram can change into when its movement has taken place is also placed into its reading. The hexagrams are cubic forms but they are said to have a central point of balance, which is a hidden middle line that mimicks the construction of the Ho Tu with its central square of Earth. The top line of heaven and bottom line of earth are above or below the action or time of the hexagram, so the 4 working lines that do have action and time also have a central 5th line - as with the Ho Tu that produces 4 outer 8 x 8 squares, that when placed symmetrically together as light and dark opposites, construct a 5th 8 x 8 inner square of values. The cubic form of the hexagram has 3 inner or lower lines that are dark or hidden, and 3 outer or upper lines that are visible, so the cubic form is of a hexagonal cube - of which the hexagram Ch'ien gives the amount of faces, and K'un gives the amount of lines needed to draw it. As the lines of the hexagram are a binary code of opposites they are made in the same way as a computer code, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, but into this binary code is also fitted the numbers of Heaven and Earth 1 to 10. Heaven = odd numbers and Earth = even numbers. Heaven and Earth are the 'Original Trigrams' of the father and mother, as heaven has all unbroken light lines, and Earth has all broken dark lines - the light lines rise and the dark lines fall down in the action of time, as energy rises upward from Earth to Heaven. The occular story placed into the readings of the hexagrams explains the hidden workings of 'The Changes', as the I Ching claims to contain the whole workings of the universe - it thereby contains the math of movement of the Lunar, Solar, and Precessional cycle, and the story of creation constructed through the changes from one ruling aeon or sign to another. The readings are called 'The decisions' and 'The judgements and commentaries' written down by King Wen and the Duke of Chou, with further commentaries by Chung Fu Tzu. The mythical construction of the hexagrams, and their workings, are attributed to Fu Hsi, the Yellow Emperors, and King Wen, but with further investigation the whole workings seem to be interlocked in such a way that the Ho Tu and Lo Shu are contempary in their manufacture: but to find out how the Lo Shu works as the Square of Time (Saturn) you first have to fit the workings of the Ho Tu into it, and the values of heaven and Earth 1 to 10 are the key to the placement of all the hexagrams into the 8 x 8 square. Currently, the value of Yi binaries and ancient sounds of at least four hexagrams of Yi still exist in Vietnamese numerals. This is my own original research - Truong Thai Du. I would like to include the Talk section here for discussion and include to the main content, after editing and checking (if any).
