Mr. Mulligan's Engine
The article mentions that the engine in Mr. Mulligan was a Pratt and Whitney Wasp. There were many variants of the Wasp series, and the specific designation would be interesting to know. The only 850 HP Wasp I know of was the R1830-9, but there may be others. The R1830 was a twin-row radial. Can anybody find the exact engine designation used in the original airplane?74.239.2.104 (talk) 17:38, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
