The sentence "She said that she did not want Akon to be featured on the song, without mentioning his name." is ambiguous and should be edited for clarity.

It could mean:

1) "Without mentioning the person's name, she said that she didn't want a male singer to be featured on the song." In other words, the record company forced her to accept another artist on the song against her will.

2) "She didn't want an uncredited, anonymous artist on the song." In other words, she wanted the male singer to be named and credited for his performance.
