– Can't see which song is more notable than the Beatles song. Furthermore, the dab page needs to be capitalized, as all titles on it are work titles, see e.g. Talk:Fuck You. --The Evil IP address (talk) 15:51, 20 June 2012 (UTC) The Evil IP address (talk) 15:51, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Support but you don't need to move
I will as well. A capital letter works as good disambiguation for plenty of things. Unreal7 (talk) 23:12, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply

Deana Martin

Deana Martin is listed as one of the artists who covered this song. She didn't. The "I Will" that appears on her album "Volare" is a cover of an entirely different song by that title, originally recorded by her father Dean. Rich (talk) 06:26, 27 May 2017 (UTC) Here is a link where you can hear the song Deana Martin recorded. Obviously a different song. And I can find no record that she ever recorded the Beatles song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwmHo7b0zgoRich (talk) 17:09, 3 March 2018 (UTC) Here's a link to Deana Martin's website page for the album with "I Will" on it. You can again hear that it is not the McCartney song, and it is credited to Dick Glasser. I removed her name from the list. Rich (talk) 04:22, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

George Harrison's absence

Why was George absent from the song's recording sessions? Was he unavailable or did he conscious skip the session? If somebody can mention the reason for his absence and with a reliable source, please insert it into the article. Thank you. 60.240.8.249 (talk) 20:20, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

MacDonald doesn't say. It was not atypical for White Album songs to be recorded by less than the full contingent of Beatles, and Paul may have felt he had the guitars covered adequately by himself. But the fact that the other 2 songs that MacDonald lists as being recorded on September 16, 1968 ("
Los Paranoias") also included Paul, John and Ringo but not George suggests that George may have just been unavailable that day, and that Paul (or the others) felt that these were songs that could be recorded in his absence. Although MacDonald lists John as playing percussion on "I Will" I am not sure all sources agree that John participated either. Rlendog (talk) 21:31, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply

Beatles Bible simply states that George did not take part, without giving a reason. It does agree with MacDonald that Lennon played percussion. Rlendog (talk) 21:33, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"Vocal Bass"

Does this refer to Paul beat-boxing in the background? Did the Beatles or someone else in authority actually use this term? I'm just wondering if there's any real reason to set this apart from straight vocals.PurpleChez (talk) 13:29, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I came here to wonder about the same thing; I just listened closely to it because someone told me about the "vocal bass", and I can hear it, and I'd love to see a sourced discussion of it here. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 23:18, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
