  • Typos fixed. As to recognition, it just wasn't as formal a system back then, you could almost (not quite, but close to) just show up. It led to some strange things (such as Peru at the 1900 Summer Olympics.) Courcelles (talk) 17:43, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
