Whoever filled these in did so completely incorrectly. They took 'White' and 'Black' or 'African American' to mean "non-Hispanic" white and black, which is not the case. The total percentage added up to something like 120%. Census.gov has the correct figures - I will allow someone to automatically import them, as is generally done for census data, rather than type them out manually and risk making more mistakes. Hi. I'm going through all the US Cities (as per List of United States cities by population) in an effort to provide some uniformity in structure. Anyone have an issue with me restructuring this article as per Wikipedia:WikiProject Cities/US Guideline. I won't be changing any content, merely the order. Occasionally, I will also move a picture just to clean up spacing issues. I've already gone through the top 20 or so on the above list, if you'd like to see how they turned out. Thoughts? The following link describes negative pressure on LGBTQ students during the 2021-22 school year at one Irving HS. It has lead to three supportive faculty under threat and the Gay-Straight Alliance membership dropping from 40 to 10. 'Texas teacher faces losing her job' (Apr 7 2022)

The article's lede suggests that 'Irving is noted for its racial and ethnic diversity' - somewhat misleading in this case. Twang (talk)
