Although your edit is correct, the statement that Stučka "was later" is not entirely true. He had been uncontested leader of the Bolshevik wing of the Social Democracy of Latvia (LSD; a territorial subdivision of the RSDSP) since the 1914 party congress. His leadership was very much in evidence during the Iskolat period, when he very nearly became mayor of Riga. — Zalktis 07:41, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
