Should this be merged with generalized keyboard? It's not clear what the distinction is. — Gwalla | Talk 23:04, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I restored the sections listing external links to modern implementations of isomorphic keyboard layouts. I don't think it's advertising, compared to what can normally be seen on most Wikipedia pages related to computer hardware and technology. 151.30.36.217 (talk) 19:07, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

See
"other stuff exists" is not a valid argument on Wikipedia, mostly because we aren't a finished encyclopedia and many of our articles are in need of cleanup similiar to the type that I do. ThemFromSpace 20:31, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply

Add link to Android app "IsoKeys"

I am the author of a new isomorphic-keyboard app for the Android platform. It is called "IsoKeys" and lives at http://isokeys.sourceforge.net. I would like to include a link to this URL in the *Software* section, so that Android users know there is a way for them to experiment with isomorphic keyboards. This seems reasonable to me, since there is already a link to Musix, the iPhone app. But to avoid any conflict of interest, I think another editor should add this, not me.

IsoKeys is available for free and is open-source.

Fig. 1 - wrong octave in first column

Shouldn't the first column's octave be shifted up by 1?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.129.85.112 (talk) 16:23, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it should. This is a common mistake: see Scientific pitch notation#Nomenclature. Double sharp (talk) 08:32, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
