There are some pictures of La Manche and a bit more information about it in the Memorial University Maritime History Archive at: http://www.mun.ca/mha/resettlement/lamanche_1.php http://www.mun.ca/mha/resettlement/lamanche_2.php http://www.mun.ca/mha/resettlement/lamanche_3.php

I don't know if they're cleared for use in wikipedia, however. 66.92.68.224 01:48, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, those can be uploaded to Wikipedia (well, those that are taken before 1949 anyway) because the copyright has expired and they are now in the public domain. Uploading to commons: would be better. Mindmatrix 14:56, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

References and rewrite

I have added references to the article (including the Maritime History Archive one noted above) and copyedited to reflect the content of the references. I also corrected the geographic coordinates which placed La Manche near Arnold's Cove on the ithmus. As the article (stub though it may be) is now properly referenced, I also removed the "references needed" tag.Vulcan's Forge (talk) 04:30, 31 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect

I have reverted the redirect here; I believe there's enough to consider La Manche independently notable. If there is opposition to this, please request a redirect for discussion here.Vulcan's Forge (talk) 22:54, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
