In case anyone at all cares, I have photo of this place from a much better vantage point about 3/4 of the way up the ridge near a small little rest stop area (just like America!) that I took myself, and that I have never ever ever put anywhere except on my computer and my memory stick. 68.100.190.163 00:13, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alkaline or fresh water

I can't understand: lake is fresh-water or alkaline (soda)? --Kikos (talk) 07:42, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alkaline. According to Hughes and Hughes, saline with pH around 9.5. Fanyavizuri (talk) 20:59, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lake Manyara or Lake Manyara National Park?

Most of this content seems to refer to the National Park rather than the lake itself. There's a page for the National Park too Lake Manyara National Park which has almost nothing in it. I'd suggest moving much of this content there, leaving here only the wider details of the lake itself (though linking to the NP of course). Any thoughts? Cmbird1 (talk) 09:59, 24 March 2011 (EAT)
