Typically, navigating a vessel or an aircraft constitutes

Reverse azimuth on compass
This note may well be misplaced, but it struck me while watching a video on the topic of land navigation that the simplest way of finding the reverse azimuth, is by simply putting the other end of the arrow "in the shed"...
In other words, if your azimuth is found by putting North in the alignment of the bezel ring, simply turn around until it is the South-pointing arrow that aligns with the bezel markings... Autokefal Dialytiker (talk) 21:33, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
