Colours
I think the colours for pending first delivery and/or leasing company should be changed as they are very similar to each other
Pan Am / Braniff A320ceo deliveries?
Can anyone account for the six A320ceo aircraft originally ordered by
- Mystery solved—per The Dallas Morning News, 11 Oct 1989 and 12 Dec 1989, Braniff II turned over 32 of the 50 Pan Am delivery slots, including the first 16, to Guinness Peat Aviation (GPA) with an agreement to lease the aircraft. Thus, the first 6 aircraft were delivered to GPA and immediately leased by Braniff. After America West purchased that airline's assets, America West and GPA presumably divided up deliveries of the remaining 44 aircraft per the Braniff agreement.
