Sources

Im not aware of Philippine Airlines ever serving routes to South Africa nor South Asia (india). And my family have worked for the airline since the 80's... Now, can someone come up with sources, or i will delete these "former destinations" asap. Lovebus 13:47, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'll delete the list for now since it doesn't have sources per
WP:AIRPORTS policy. But I'll try to look for sources regarding this and if I find some I'll re-add the former destinations. pikdig (talk) 16:22, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply

Philippine Airlines Destinations

The list of Philippine Airlines Destinations on the page is in accurate, because if you go to the Philippine Airlines website, it gives it's complete list of destinations.

Per

WP:AIRPORTS
, we should not list code-share flights of airlines

Below are PAL flights, but these flights are operated by different carriers (I did not include code-share flights whose destinations are also served by PAL):

  1. PR035-036 MNL-MPH-MNL (operated by 2P/begins December 15)
  2. PR045-046 MNL-MPH-MNL (operated by 2P/begins December 15)
  3. PR055-056 MNL-MPH-MNL (operated by 2P/begins December 15)
  4. PR071-072 MNL-MPH-MNL (operated by 2P/begins December 15)
  5. PR081-082 MNL-MPH-MNL (operated by 2P/begins December 15)
  6. PR154-155 MNL-BAH-MNL (operated by GF)
  7. PR220-221 MNL-TUG-MNL (operated by 2P)
  8. PR256-257 MNL-BAH-MNL (operated by GF)
  9. PR291-294 MNL-DGT-MNL (operated by 2P)
  10. PR644-647 MNL-DOH-MNL (operated by QR)
  11. PR660-663 MNL-DXB-MNL (operated by EK)
  12. PR681-688 MNL-BWN-MNL (operated by BI)
  13. PR702-703 MNL-BKI-KUL-BKI-MNL (operated by MH)
  14. PR704-705 MNL-KUL-MNL (operated by MH)
  15. PR706-707 CEB-KUL-CEB (operated by MG)
  16. PR708-709 CEB-BKI-KUL-BKI-CEB (operated by MH)
  17. PR839-840 MNL-MFM-MNL (operated by NX)
  18. PR851-852 MNL-MFM-MNL (operated by NX)
  19. PR920-921 CEB-HKG-CEB (operated by CX)
  20. PR961-962 MNL-WNP-MNL (operated by 2P)
  21. PR997-998 MNL-OZC-MNL (operated by 2P)

The destinations above should not be listed for these flights are not operated by PAL themselves. -chris^_^ 04:28, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Photos as reference material

Some terminated destinations have been referenced with photos from an aviation website, these are not good enough for reference purposes, while its true Philippine Airlines served these places but how can others be sure that the photo was not a one off service operated as charter flight or a VIP flight or diverted to the destination due to some problem as these situations do happen and there are many photos of airlines at places they have never served but only landed there on a rare visit.(116.71.59.199 (talk))

Continental Subdivisions

Southwest Asia, Middle East, Upper Jupiter... I don't personally care what it's called. But selective edits are not the way to go. for whatever reason, there has been consensus to list the continental subdivisions in a particular way. And Southwest Asia is what is established in the aviation project. As is the procedure, should anyone wish to make a change, bring it up for discussion at the appropriate place, get consensus, and then feel free to make the change across the board. Until then, things should stay as they are. In any event, this is certainly not the place to change/discuss anything. Jasepl (talk) 19:08, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Destinations map

Please update the map, as Philippine Airlines resumes its services to Riyadh. Cheers. JohnMarcelo 05:54, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Make this look like other destination lists

We should make this look like other airline destination list like

Vietnam Airlines destinations where terminated and current destinations are mixed together — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hithere442 (talkcontribs) 05:18, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply

Philippine Airlines in Dumaguete:

I've flown to Dumaguete many times and it's not terminated! If it's terminated, why are there Philippine Airlines flights in Dumaguete Operating?! Sheanobeano (talk) 01:23, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Edit: I realized that it's marketed by Philippine Airlines but operated by PAL Express. Nevermind what I said before. PAL express and Philippine Airlines pretty much the same thing almost. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sheanobeano (talkcontribs) 21:22, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
