David E. Kelley must have smoked too much coke while scripting his arguments around the issue of a woman's right to deny the birth of her full-term fetus. Overlooking the fact that labor could have been induced easily to guarantee the survival of her unborn child, only lord knows what other kind of foolish nonsense drove Kelley to dream up the entire scenario; it is mind-boggling gibberish and hardly worthy of further comment. A much better scenario would have been to deny the cesarean at the onset of the episode, to let the child die, and then to prosecute the nimble-minded, dim-witted woman with murder.
