Should film accolades table entries where the film itself is the nominee have blank entries or repeat the film's titles?

- I think it might be wise to run this question past overlinking, however, irks me... Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:31, 29 June 2016 (UTC)]
- You see, Best Film does not necessarily go to the film itself. Certain awards name the film as the recipient of the award while there are a few that award the producers e.g. we can see so in the List of accolades received by Brokeback Mountain; there the nominee for the Best Picture Oscars is not the film but the producers. As far as redundancy is concerned, I think we already know the name of director, actors, and others too (since they are introduced in the lead), right? As for the overlinking part, it does not apply to sortable tables. Cheers, FrB.TG (talk) 18:54, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
- I am not too fussed either way, but it doesn't hurt to explicitly include the film's title if there wasn't an actual recipient. One thing to bear in mind is that it is theoretically possible for two films to share a win, so explicitly listing the winning film(s) will make it clear if the film is a solo or joint winner.
