To me, this article feels not only very incomplete, but also very unorganized. Perhaps it should be sorted under its countries by state or region? This is hard to do, however, due to some forts being listed under territories that no longer exist. Should these posts, then, be listed under the state/province they are/were located in, according to modern state boundaries? Or should they be sorted according to region (which can also be difficult; for example, the definition of the US Midwest differs greatly from person to person).
