Please do not remove the information identifying the unique circumstances, not in Wiki elsewhere, regarding the mayor from 2003 to 2006. These are important details. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.130.179.244 (talk) 19:59, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Urgent, PLEASE NOTE that Larry Di Ianni is the only Hamilton mayor convicted, on multiple charges, of violations of Ontario's Municipal Elections Act--regarding illegal donations to his 2003 election campaign. By the time of the election day in November, 2003, he'd collected less than half of what his campaign spent, and about 25% of the money that his campaign had by then collected was challenged successfully in court prosecution and found to be illegal campaign contributions. Readers of this site will have difficulty finding this public info elsewhere in Wikipedia, but it is all on the public record in the daily newspaper, The Hamilton Spectator. Di Ianni was defeated as mayoral candidate in both 2006 and 2010. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.130.179.244 (talk) 19:40, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why do we have this list of Mayors, when we have Category:Mayors of Hamilton, Ontario? The only feature I see to this article is that it puts the Mayors in order by term in office.Alan.ca 22:42, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think that's the point...--Auric (talk) 11:43, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
