San Antonio Lightning News (2008)[2][3]

Ownership Info Deleted

What is the rationale for deleting the ownership information of the various publications? In this time where we are seeing the demise of independent media and concentration of ownership, this seems very relevant. I saw no discussion before this information was removed. Most newspaper lists on Wikipedia don't include ownership, and a lot of the info for ownership on this list was either outdated or incomplete. It'll take some time, but just for you H-2-O, I'll add the names back. Eric Schucht (talk) 18:15, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I spent a lot of time in the past updating the ownership information. I think it is very relevant, especially with stuff like the Gannett newspaper strike going on right now. H-2-O (talk) 19:00, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
