Tottenham record attendance - No reliable sources

The source the autothor have linked leads to a unknown and sketchy website. — Preceding unsigned comment added by KanelSukker (talkcontribs) 19:18, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

this is obviously a work in progress. i will (or anyone else feel free too) add other clubs when i get round to it. at present only premiership, championship, and division one clubs are included. i know there are clubs in lower leagues with higher records than some of these clubs. i believe the figures on footballgroundguide are accurate, as they match an article in the independant newspaper, and they also match figures on each clubs page on wikipedia. the site is the most comprehensive on english grounds that i know of.

For capacities, footballgroundguide is mostly accurate, but not completely accurate. I imagine it similar for records. Oldelpaso 12:38, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Wycombe Wanderers figure does not tally with that given on the Adams Park page (15,850 at Loakes Park v St Albans City in 1950).

I assume that the previous incarnation of Accrington Stanley will have a rather higher figure as well.

This list needs retitled list of record home attendances for English football league clubs seeing as 4 teams are welsh (Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Wrexham plus some records are not true as Manchester United's home is Old Trafford not Maine Road and Wembley is the national stadium not Arsenal's home ground so these cannot be put down as record home attendances otherwise you could play a match in the USA and say such a team is home and the other away how can Stevenage be playing at home when Stevenage is nowhere near Birmingham I already corrected these and added about 20 other league and ex-league teams records since the beginning of promotion and relegation to and from the Conference Premier at the end of the 1986-87 season but some vandal has deleted all the records and put back false ones like Man United's obviously it must be a Man Utd fan jealous that Man City hold the record attendance all records were true and on the official Guiness book of football records for each British clubs record home attendance. After World War 2 City and United shared Maine Road for a few years due to bombing damage to Old Trafford, I have corrected the link as Manchester United in the table was pointing to Manchester City's page for some reason. The Arsenal one is correct as they used Wembley as their "Home" stadium for the Champions League, as Spurs are doing this season and should be somewhere in this list soon too. 82.33.41.67 (talk) 20:12, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
