It seems like a lot of the movies listed either: (a) aren’t science fiction; or (b) aren’t horror movies. I navigated here from Event Horizon’s page (which is clearly both), and I am disappointed the listed is too bloated with movies that don’t meet 1 of the 2 criteria for which it is named to be useful for selecting a good sci-fi horror flick (like Event Horizon, Alien, and Sphere - all properly in the list). Should the films in the Tremors franchise be included in this list? As far as I can tell, they have some science fiction and horror elements, but I think they're a large part comedy also. Thoughts? G S Palmer (talkcontribs) 13:57, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

——See, I don’t really see the sci-fi element to that one. It’s definitely horror, and even some comedy as you say, but does having a scary undiscovered/unknown creature, all by itself, make a movie “sci-fi?”. It definitely makes it horror, but if that is all it takes to be sci-fi then the distinction between theses genres becomes one without meaning. Icesyckel1981 (talk) 13:35, 3 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
