Photo request

A photo is required for Arbor Low in Derbyshire (In the Arbor Low article as well). Any other Stone circles will be appreciated. Ring of Brodgar in the Orkneys too, as the one we had was deleted. MortimerCat 19:25, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a photo of the Ring of Brodgar, also the nearby Stanes of Stenness.

Links to non-existant articles

Some Stone Circles have their own article, such as Stonehenge, and a link is provided on this page. However, my motivation for creating this page was to provide a repository for specific Stone Circles which do not merit their own page. This is why I removed the non-existant article links.

I would like to keep the page as "valid links only", because if a circle is worthy of an article, then at least a stub needs to be created. MortimerCat 20:19, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

People may want to keep a lookout for...

One that has not yet been confirmed, but is soon-to-be-excavated: search google/bing/etc for "circle submerged kinneret" ...because it's near the 20,000 to 12,500 BCE Ohalo II which also was submerged (i.e. needs to be VERY old...unless ancient people had scuba gear ;-) ), this might become the world's most amazing/oldest Stone Circle discovery yet (and perhaps oldest of all types of megaliths). Data should begin to come in, circa 2016~2018. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.183.52.92 (talk) 10:20, 20 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Beh, I just updated myself on it: only dated to ~4000 BCE so far; Atlit Yam is way older. May still be good to make a new WP page for it, once they name it & get more details. 72.183.52.92 (talk) 10:25, 20 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

South American circle

I remember there being a page on a circle in South America, but i cannot find it anymore. A link to it here would be useful.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.169.42.228 (talk) 13:25, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Order

I've changed the order so that Britain, Ireland and Brittany are now one section, following Burl (2000). C1614 (talk) 20:00, 19 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
