Why are there lists of comedy series on a page that is supposed to be a list of dramatic series? That's why it was edited, to clean all of that up and to make the page make sense.

[Angel] is not teen drama, [Connor] is the only teen of the main cast. [Buffy the vampire slayer] - only 1-3 series, next is adult characters except the [Dawn Summers]. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.18.29.195 (talk) 20:21, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[Laguna Beach] is not a drama, it's a reality show. 74.133.170.250 (talk) 16:49, 15 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the following shows because none of them feature teens as primary characters on the show, nor regularly occuring depictions of teen life: Angel, Charmed, CSI, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Melrose Place, Models Inc, NCIS, Picket Fences, Private Practice, and Supernatural. 11-11: En mi cuadra nada cuadra

The placement of 11-11: En mi cuadra nada cuadra under United States teen dramas was marked as "dubious" due to the fact that it is filmed in Spanish and airs on Nickelodeon Latin America. After the show was deleted from the list in good faith, I re-added a source confirming that the show was filmed and produced in Miami, Florida, by an American television company despite being in Spanish and airing throughout Latin America. The Teen Drama's

A Lot of the shows you put under teen drama's for U.S. Are Teen Sitcoms. There is a difference between sitcoms and drama's. Drama's Are Dramatic and sitcoms are comedies that noone takes seriously. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.163.4.254 (talkcontribs)

I assume you are speaking to me - I reverted your edits because several of the shows that you have removed from the list may be considered teen dramas. You have not provided reliable evidence for how the shows violate the definition of a "teen drama" - your opinion alone is not proof enough. According to
Teen drama, "A teen drama is a genre or type of drama series with a major focus on teenage and young adult characters," and "More often than not, teen dramas have soap opera elements, incorporating one or more ongoing story arcs spanning several episodes. The young characters must deal with the dramatic ups and downs of their friendships and romances while facing an array of issues thought to be typical of adolescence." Many of the shows you removed incorporated these elements. Nisf (talk) 21:38, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply

No Good Nick and Lost in Space

Regarding the removal of edits by User:Bastian Dautel: I have removed No Good Nick and Lost in Space (2018 TV series) for the following reasons:

  • No Good Nick is described as a comedy series in several places
    List of teen situation comedies
    .
  • Lost in Space, while featuring two teen characters in its cast, is primarily a family drama, as the main focus of the show is the family unit. The teenage characters are part of a multi-generational ensemble cast rather than the primary focus of the show. No articles about the show refer to it as a teen drama. [3] [4]

Titans and Smallville are also superhero shows

Titans and Smallville are superhero shows, like the Arrowverse shows, so why are they considered "teen dramas?" 2601:883:4280:28B0:BDA4:AB51:A0A5:420C (talk) 21:52, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Titans and Smallville are about... teen superheroes. They are about teenagers. None of the Arrowverse shows added are about teens or feature teen characters in the main cast. Nisf (talk) 18:58, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
