ghost town definition

The article says "

Ghost towns, nor is there any citation for this present extended definition and the presence in the table of towns that have more than 0 people. Does Canada have its own special/unique definition of ghost towns? Hmains (talk) 19:23, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply

I agree we need to clarify the meaning of ghost town. Is it different in the US vs. Canada? What's the differentiation between a Canadian ghost town and former settlement? --Rosiestep (talk) 18:55, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Separate lists by province

I note that some provinces have separate articles listing ghost towns, and that the lists are not the same as those in this article. If a province has a separate list in another article, this list should contain only the wiki link. Trying to maintain the same lists in two separate articles is pointless, and an invitation to confusion. Plazak (talk) 19:06, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No one disagreed with my idea above, so I am eliminating the redundant lists in this article. Plazak (talk) 17:14, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
