One of the authors of the Long John Silver comics, Mathieu Lauffray, informed me via email in the following conversation that against what I had initially believed (and others apparently believed too) both authors - Xavier Dorison AND Mathieu Lauffray - are involved in writing the story, not only Xavier Dorison. Basically, the idea and initial development are from Xavier Dorison and the images and their coloring is performed by Mathieu Lauffray, but the scenario development and dialogues are created by both jointly. I have thus made the appropriate changes to the article but remain open to discussing these if need be.

Here the relevant excerpt of the communication with Mr. Lauffray (August 19th 2013): "One last thing, I've read your page on wikipedia and I have a little remark, Xavier and I are BOTH writing the story, with equal artistic implication and contractual rights on the script." --Arbraxan (talk) 14:23, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
