The "differences between the book and film" section of this article is very similar to that in the article of the 1963 film. Is it just a copy-paste thing, or do all of those differences really exist? Steveo2 18:48, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just from reading the book, I see a lot wrong with this section. First of all, alot of the bullets are identical to those from the 1963 film. Also, many bullets are opinions. One bullet, "There was never an accordian washing up on the shore or any mention of the Russians or the Olympics", is factually inaccurate. I will not remove this but put an asterik by it. The bullet has no mention of whether it reffers to events in the book or in the movie. There was never an accordian washing up on the shore or any mention of the Russians or the Olympics.

In the recent years, this adaptation of Lord of the Flies has gained a cult following.

For those who don't know what a cult following is, a cult following is a movie that isn't very popular with either critics or at the box office or both, but it gets more popular once released on home video & DVD. That's what a cult following is.
