Luisa Miller in MET

The article says: "There have been reasonably frequent performances at the Metropolitan Opera in New York from 1929 to 2006". I would not say so. After 6 performances of the first 1929 production in 1929-1930 there was a 38 years long gap! Source: MET database 89.77.33.100 (talk) 16:30, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, and have adjusted the text to reveal the 38-year gap. "Reasonably frequently" might apply from 1968 onward. Viva-Verdi (talk) 17:03, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do not add bootleg recordings to the Recordings section

Please add only commercial recordings, commercial historical labels, e.g. Naxos Historical, Opera d'Oro, Myto, Testament Records, or Marston Records, and live recordings released and sold by opera companies and/or broadcasting companies themselves. Do not add recordings with the "labels": Live Opera, Celestial Audio, Premiere Opera (and its earlier version Legato Classics), Live Opera Heaven, and House of Opera. They are not record labels. They are private bootleg companies that produce on demand copies of off-air recordings and others taped by private individuals during actual performances. Virtually all of them are copyright violations. All such additions should be promptly removed. Voceditenore (talk) 04:46, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Twentieth Century performances - Sadler's Wells revived the opera in London in 1953 - possibly the first professional London performance of the century? Currently the 1951 cut Cetra Mario Rossi recording with Kelston and Lauri-Volpi should be obtainable on Warner-Fonit. Opera d'Oro is a more dubious source.Delahays (talk) 21:04, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
