I see no such announcement anywhere that Drew Brees has been determined to be the 2011 cover athlete. Source the claim or I'm removing it. Treima (talk) 22:56, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Soundtrack Section

I was the one who mentioned that "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Let Me Hear You Scream" were censored. First off, should I have mentioned that "Let Me Hear You Scream" was the one with the censor with the guitar (was riff the right word for it?)and that "Welcome to the Jungle" Had the phasing effects (Not just on blood, but a few more as well) (172.163.28.92 (talk) 03:14, 12 August 2010 (UTC) User: I don't know my IP address, I had an account, but I have no idea if it is still even active.)[reply]

cover art

Can some one make the cover art picture smaller.

  • I've reverted the cover-art image to an image showing only one of the three platforms. Since all the covers are essentially identical, this means we use only one copyrighted work instead of three, in keeping with
    our non-free content policies. (ESkog)(Talk) 09:41, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply

idea Wouldn't it be easier to just crop the image to remove the Xbox 360 logo so it's the cover art but it's not console-identifiable? RF23 (talk) 17:04, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • That'd work too. Anything but the three-image montage. (ESkog)(Talk) 18:44, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I added the advertisement tag. Here are a few examples that demonstrate why:

"and new broadcast and authentic NFL audio presentation that delivers the NFL experience fans have come to expect" Who decides what fans expect? This is pure salesmanship. "spend more time on the field and less in the playbook -- completing games in half of the time." The language here is slanted; the same point can be made more quickly and more neutrally by simply saying that playcalling has been made quicker. "New and improved QB ratings" New, maybe, but improved? That's an opinion. More salesmanship.

In short, this article needs to be rewritten to state changes rather than promote them. At the very least, it needs to be made more clear that the supposedly improved features are promises by the developer rather than reliable information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.234.141.195 (talk) 06:14, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Both those issues have been cleared up, so I removed the tag. ~ Richmond96 tc 14:06, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

EA online pass

The Online Pass article should at least be linked to. It's quite a controversial topic on message boards, blogs, and gaming news sites. A separate list (and an anchor to it) could be added to that article for EA specific games just to make things clearer for someone redirected from this page (over half of the titles in the list for online pass games are published by EA).

Soundtrack

What happened to a couple of the songs? "Crowd Chant", "Rock and Roll (Part 2)", "We Will Rock You", "Kernkraft 400", "Crazy Train", "Bang the Drum All Day", "Song 2" and "We Ready" aren't on my game. I have it for Xbox 360. Were they removed or what? And if so, it should be noted in the article. Crash Underride 19:01, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you don't have those songs on your game, then I suggest you have a defective game. Those songs are definitely all included in the game. –
