Is this article necessary?

Seems to me that Evolution of the eye and Eye are necessary, as well as the detail articles such as Retina. But I can't see any use for both Human eye and Mammalian eye; they overlap too much. Should perhaps Human eye be merged into this one? - Hordaland (talk) 14:31, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge of Mammalian vision into Mammalian eye
