Made a minor edit to fix the obvious POV statement that Matt Helm is *the* most competent etc. etc. Everyone can argue that their pet secret agent is *the* most compentent, not many people can argue that Matt Helm is *one of* the most competent. Applejuicefool 03:38, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I should *hope* not! Hayford Peirce 04:28, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

George Clooney as Matt Helm?

Just an observation, but has anyone else noticed that the illustration of Helm from the back cover of Wrecking Crew (illustrated here) makes him out to be a dead ringer for George Clooney? 23skidoo 17:16, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Book articles

Individual articles now exist for the complete Matt Helm series (I even threw one in for the unpublished The Dominators for good measure). Most of these articles are stubs, so please feel free to expand them. 23skidoo 18:16, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Obsession with Age

Three of the six paragraphs in the introductory section deal with the question of Helm's age. Why so much attention to this one aspect of the character? Recommend that the age-related material be pared down to one paragraph, or moved to its own section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.244.27.21 (talk) 15:52, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Matt Helm: The War Years

Matt Helm: The War Years, by Keith Wease, should probably be mentioned. Authorised prequel by a longtime fan, about Helm's wartime service -- recruitment, training, missions, Tina, &c. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.255.171.122 (talk) 01:34, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Nope. It's a self-published book, and its publication has not been covered by any reliable source. The only sources cited for it have been a Matt Helm fan page; the listing where it's for sale on Amazon and elsewhere; and
WP:RS. If you can cite some published source discussing the book, it can be considered. TJRC (talk) 06:37, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply
