I do not believe this should be merged with the general Memorial community; Memorial is a vague community while Memorial City is a small state management district. WhisperToMe (talk) 20:23, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, in Houston, if you refer to Memorial City, most would think you are speaking of the mall. If you refer to Memorial, people believe you are speaking of the wider community area.
