Effects on tumors

An editor recently added a remark to the indications section about

VEGF receptors, stating that because some studies have shown opioids to agonize such receptors, methylnaltrexone may antagonize them and therefore may indirectly reduce tumor angiogenesis in cancer patients. I think that'd be really cool if true, but I think it's irresponsible for us to be saying this without a source and without there being any studies. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 01:34, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply
