Additional Report in Media

The NHK World (tv Japan) documentary Preventing Dementia, seen in early 2017, covered MCI. Measuring walking speed and quality proved a useful test. MCI was more apparent when performing a parallel mental task, such as counting backwards using odd numbers or the alphabet (caused slower walking). One hour of fast walking three times a week helped. Approvals are pending for use of an epilepsy drug that shows promise. 108.92.49.79 (talk) 00:16, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
