Review and pass judgement on edit...

Hi this is Ajayupai95.... Please look thru Ministry of Defence (India) and you will find that I have made an edit an another unknown IP address has reverted the edit accusing me of Vandalising the article... Now I request anyone who has read and understood the article and the edits made on 12th February 2013 to please review and pass judgment on the edit made by me... I also request the gentleman/ lady with the IP address to please identify them self and take part in this discussion... If I have erred then I will personally undo my edit and I apologise for the edit war that ensued... I strongly recommend the presence of MR/Ms IP ADdress here ASAP!!! Thanks a lot!!!! Because

Merge

I propose to merge Minister of Defence (India) into Ministry of Defence (India) since the former only contains the list which can be included in the latter. -- Pankaj Jain Capankajsmilyo (talk · contribs · count) 19:40, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose (1) Not just a "list" at all, rather a large and complex table. (2) The Ministry's article should focus on its history, activities and organisational structure; adding a huge table of ministers' names will distract from this. (3) There should be separate articles for ministers of state and for defence secretaries; do you propose to merge into this article as well? (4) It's standard practice on Wikipedia to have separate articles for the ministry and the list of ministers, both for Indian articles and other countries.—indopug (talk) 05:06, 31 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
