Things To Add Or Consider

Although the article is in its early stages of development I see a number of edits that could be contributed a tremendous amount that'll contribute to its completeness. One of the first critiques that i'd like to offer to this article would be researching the past Ministers of Justice and insert their names, political party affiliation, as well as their terms served. i think that this would be vital information in understanding the legal system of Italy during certain political times doing this would allow for us to get an understanding that if laws were regulated and passed for the people or for the political party (instead of just having an external wiki link). The second thing that i think would be beneficial to add is the years that key legislation was enacted this would allow for us to understand Italy justice system to a greater extinct. Question: Who is the current Minister of Justice? What are the Key roles of the Ministry of Justice? Since the article is in its early stages their aren't really any citation links that work besides the governmental page of the Ministry of Justice as well as the previous wiki links that provide a broad overview of the Ministry in its own Wiki pages. Overall, this is a good start for an article but it'll need work in order for its readers to grasp a full understanding on the past and present roles of the Ministry of Justice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Blairaaronrogers3 (talkcontribs) 21:26, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A. There is only one short paragraph underneath the background section of the wikipedia page. The editor seems to only have referenced the Ministry of Justice's website. Even the external links are the Ministry of Justice's website, but in both English and Italian. I would say that this is an appropriate and reliable reference as it is the direct source. However, it would be beneficial if the editor were to include other sources that offered more information on the Ministry of Justice. In the 'Divisions' section and the 'See also' section, the editor had just linked other wikipedia pages, but offered no other commentary or explanation. B. Everything in the article is relevant to the article topic. The editor did not add any miscellaneous information or random facts to the page. In fact, the editor offered very little information over all. There is a brief description of what the Ministry of Justice really is and the rest of the article are just links to two other Wikipedia articles about the Policia Penitenziaria and the list of Minister of Justice as well as a link to the Ministry of Justice's website. C. The article is fairly neutral; however, it is vague in terms of describing what the Ministry of Justice is. The editor attempts to define the Ministry of Justice by describing it as an approximate equivalent to the U.S. Attorney General. The editor uses the U.S. to draw a comparison between the Ministry of Justice and the U.S. Judicial system and the attorney general. This is misleading as it does not offer an accurate description of what it really is, but what it could be seen as by the American point of view. D. The information comes directly from the Ministry of Justice's website. This is biased as it is the only site that the editor looks at; however, it is an accurate and reliable site, in my opinion, considering they got their information straight from the source.
