A fact from Minor attacks of the Black Hawk War appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 12 October 2007. The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that the 1832 capture and burning was one of several minor attacks of the Black Hawk War? A record of the entry may be seen at Wikipedia:Recent additions/2007/October.

While there isn't a present day Roxbury Township, there was a historical one, see [1]. The source was rather specific, it did not say through the town, but through the township, which would have been relevant at the time of the events. Thoughts? IvoShandor 03:50, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Based on poking around the U.S. census website it would appear that Roxbury is an unincorporated community in "Roxbury town" which the Census defines as a "county subdivision" (which is what a township is in other jurisdictions). I would be interested in finding out from someone who lives near there. I am just going on what I am reading in the census stuff.IvoShandor 03:57, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
