I took out a bunch of equations that I thought were a bit too complex.

Also I think someone needs to define low-dimensional and high-dimensional, or substitute layperson language for those terms. Jasemurphy (talk) 03:23, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but removing information does not make it more accessible. Yes, there will be formulas but that's inherent to the subject. Perhaps someone can discuss it in more detail. Low and high dimensional is not precisely defined but in short, when the number of dimensions increases, the worse it becomes to compute the algorithms. In this discussion, low-dimensional could be read as a dimensional space where computations are still tractable and high-dimensional as one where that is not the case. - Simeon (talk) 06:48, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The edit [1] has removed a subsection from the article. According to my own prediction model, I'm very (>80%) sure that an admin will take action and restore the original content. This is equal to put the section back into the article. I redid the changes of the edit. I was the original author of the edit, but was not logged in. The algorithm, Random-MMP, exists, but the publication has 85 citations (just checked on google scholar). As scientist in robotics, I think this is a good publication, but it is not at the level of the other general methods in this article.
