A note

There is a HUGE amount of reading into the film, wth regard to what the mouse's role is, and whether or not it is there to try to bring the brothers together again. Is it not within the realms of possibility that it is simply there to add comedy to the whole thing?

I can't even find a definitive source clearing it up, and usage seems split.
