Comment

Dear God, someone clean up this article! The style and English it is written with is outright terrible...

I don't have editing rights, but could the word "users" in the first sentence be replaced with "U.S. based users" or similar? Currently the only place mentioning that it serves US residents only is the info box. I think the fact it only serves US residents is highly relevant to many people reading the article, and can easily be overlooked in the info box. Hence it should be mentioned in the initial summary. Vudu should be updated to Fandango at home.

Rewritten and removed POV tag

Don't see any further POV issues. Ale_Jrbtalk 19:05, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

KeychestDisney Movies Anywhere – The Keychest article discusses the development of the technology that would eventually power Disney's digital rights management platform. That platform, called Disney Movies Anywhere, was recently launched in 2014. This article should be moved to Disney Movies Anywhere and included as a section in a larger article about the entire Disney Movies Anywhere platform. Current Owner

Do we know who the current owner is? I know that Disney used to be the owner, but I'm wondering if they spun it of, kept hold of it, or something else. The privacy policy states that it is owned/run by Movies Anywhere, LLC. Being an LLC, someone else should be owning it. Anyone know who, or know a way to find out who owns it? --Elisfkc (talk) 21:36, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Logo Controversy

Should something be added about the controversy about the similarity between the 'Movies Anywhere' logo and that for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). It was first created and introduced to the ABC in 1965. More details here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pschulz01 (talkcontribs) 09:03, 19 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Pschulz01: Depends. Have any sources about it? --Elisfkc (talk) 21:59, 19 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

20th Century Fox Studios And DreamWorks Movie Studio Company Divisions Recognition Dispute

Ohnoitsjamie and Dawg Deputy, please give 20th Cenutry Fox Studios and DreamWorks proper really real actual credit and recognition they deserve by mentioning them, because they’re also supporting Movies Anywhere, despite being small movie studio company divisions within Walt Disney Studios and Universal Pictures, since their movies are eligible and available within the service.

We don't need need to itemize all of the divisions under the main companies involved. OhNoitsJamie Talk 14:55, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

They ended movie sharing & watch together

They ended movie sharing and Watch Together features June 1st 2023.

Thanks. Looks like Screen Pass ended May 1, 2023, and Watch Together ended June 1, 2023. Added the info about Screen Pass to the article, but since Watch Together isn't in the article currently, I didn't do anything with that piece. --GoneIn60 (talk) 02:44, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
