    Demutualized?

Martin Tiedemann told me that Co-operative News reported the successful demutualization recently. He said this is backed up by http://www.cooperatives-uk.coop/live/cme1987.htm which is not necessarily a reliable source on its own. Could someone post the exact Co-op news issue or web address, and a brief quotation from the article? --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 06:51, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a reference to an article where Co-operatives UK state that M&F has been ruled out of membership. (Co-op News, October 2007). Martín (saying/doing) 09:55, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Actuallly demutualize with a 'z' is equally correct British spelling. See Oxford spelling. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk)

    Interdict

I am not familiar with Scots law, and the source cited says 'injunction', perhaps making a loose translation to common law. If you have read the court papers, please add the citation. The more citations, the merrier. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 20:55, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

See this page for a list of examples of the use of 'interdict' in Scots law. If the original source used 'injunction', it will be because its author felt the need to "translate" the Scots remedy into the closest equivalent English remedy. Journalists aren't taught to get these things right! ariwara (talk) 09:32, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

    Funeral error

I don't think this local paper story should be added to the article, but having stumbled on it, I thought I should mention it here in case others disagree. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 15:56, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
