Move suggestion

Hello There, I am pretty new to English Wikipedia and I wanted to move the main page "Sorud-e Melli-e Jomhoori-e Eslami-e Iran " which means National Anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran to "Sorood-e Melli-e Jomhoori-e Eslami-e Iran " which is the correct spelling. Please help me make the changes if you can.

some xenophobic asshole edited the IRI anthem third line to say "with the light in the eyes to kill americans". I speak and read Farsi, and nowhere in the anthem does it say such nonsense. Please, Wikipedia editors, do a better job, or be classified as bigots yourselves.

Video Link

I added a link to a video that's hosted in YouTube. But I don't know anything about the video. Is it one of those videos they play at then of a TV channel's broadcast day? Does anyone know for sure? Inkan1969 09:55, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorud-e Melli-e Iran

That's the correct transcription. Jahangard 17:37, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting corrections:

Requesting corrections: This is not the current National Anthem of Iran. IT'S WRONG!!! (the text is right, the song is wrong) It's correct: http://www.national-anthems.net/music/IR —Preceding unsigned comment added by Syberia poya (talkcontribs) 15:23, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why no "the"?

Sorry for being a grammar nazi, here. But why isn't the article called the "National Anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran"? A typo? --NuclearVacuum (talk) 05:19, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for lack of lyrics?

Was wondering, in other languages there is lyrics available, but on the English page of this anthem there seems to be no lyrics while other anthems do have the lyrics? Is there a reason for it? DaveHagen97 (talk) 00:16, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Ambiguous copyright status" is what I'm getting. Pretty stupid in my opinion, what would the Iranian government do to Wikipedia?? CCL-DTL (talk) 16:38, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
