NO encouragement for sports

"although there are cricket and football teams, they have been disallowed to participate in tournaments". WHY? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.167.246.100 (talk) 04:23, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV dispute

While I have cleared up a few biased points, I would appreciate it if some information that states the more of the critisised aspects of school is provided by someone - like a few of the following:

  • relatively poor infrastructure
  • low wages being given to teachers
  • a lot more money being taken up in addition the the admission fees
  • high pushout rate after Class X

And so on... I need a little more clarification regarding these issues.

Teachers are paid good in comparison to other schools. The pushout is true and needs a mention. Infrastructure is good enough.

Reply:::

The high pushout rate after class X is because many students are asked to leave due to poor perfomance. The school has maintained a high undisputed academic standard and keeping the same in view, does not grant many students seats for in demand courses.

The infrastructure is very good and the academic facilities are the best.

No donation is taken at this school. The fees is high, but no donations are taken.

Teachers are highly paid in comparison to other schools.

For ur information, NPS has ben consistently topping the charts for CBSE results (a feat acknowledged by CBSE chairman, Ashok Ganguly) and the school is widely recognised as the best in fields such as quiz and debating. The school also sends a large number of students to the Ivies and othe institutions of higher education in the US, despite being a CBSE school.

I've removed the NPOV template. This now looks like a really good article.

While that may be reasonable enough, the issue is nevertheless controversial. However, I have not stated that in the article.

Why are the students that get selected for higher classes, i.e, 11 and 12 again get divided on the basis of merit and the relatively poor performers have to "make do" with not so got teachers? In fact, the students in the second half (the not so meritorious group) actually need more attention from the best of your staff! Like any other school favoritism is quiet blatant and should be curbed by your administration! You have to find a way to encourage every one from your very best students to the 'underdogs' to reach for the best. 76.179.84.115 03:32, 8 December 2006 (UTC) Still Skeptical[reply]
