CyMoahk2 + GrouchoPython - I see you both have done a bit of work on updating attendance #'s, stats, etc for NWSL season articles in the past. I was wondering if this article might be something you would be interested in helping update + publish? I've based it on a copy of the MLS attendance article and started updating the lead and some other sections. The following sections need updating (along with anything else you think would be good to add):

  • 2016 season #'s, stadiums, capacity
  • NWSL attendance vs. other women's soccer leagues worldwide (could be shortened // hidden for now)
  • NWSL Championship playoffs (not sure if data available // hidden for now)

Ah, nice! I've had a rough draft of this article sitting on my computer for about a month now. X-D I'm definitely interested in helping here! Some of the sections on my rough draft included comparing NWSL to other US soccer leagues, as opposed to the other US women's sports leagues you've currently got. I'm also working on a year-by-year attendance table like the one already on the MLS attendance article. I'll see what updates I can throw on right now. Thanks for starting this Hmlarson! • You mean like...
    • MLS SuperDraft
    • MLS Cup Playoffs
    • List of foreign MLS players
    • MLS Best XI
    • etc.?
    • My point here is that "consistency" is relative. I don't know what the people who work with MLS articles generally do, but in my opinion I would prefer we use "National Women's Soccer League __" for any article that's more encyclopedic and "NWSL __" for any article that's more casual parlance, if that makes any sense. Or just mirror how the MLS articles are already split. CyMoahk2 (talk) 03:18, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, I can see it both ways. When I google "NWSL attendance" vs "National Women's Soccer League attendance", I don't get the article in the results for the former - how about you? There's something to be said for
WP:COMMONNAME - particularly when the league's own website homepage only lists the full league name in the footer and HTML title. Hmlarson (talk) 03:41, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply

Individual game highest attendance

Why is there a separate section for "Doubleheaders with other teams" when that list contains only one entry? Wouldn't it better be served by an footnote like the asterisk for the "Sell Out"? Is there a relevant part of the style guide or a compelling reason these two lists shouldn't be combined? Is there another article where the same distinction is made?
