As someone who lived on this base when it closed in 1992, I know it isn't properly named. To be along the Naming Convention guidelines, it should be named

I oppose the merger because I prefer the Annex having it's own article, because it's history is much deeper in my opinion than NAS. Not to mention the big geographical difference of the two locations. I believe the articles should be named:
